Focus and Scope
Sophist: Jurnal Sosial Politik, Kajian Islam dan Tafsir is a peer-reviewed and open access journal published by the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Studies, State Islamic University of Mataram, Indonesia, with p-ISSN: 2656-1220 and e-ISSN: 2745-8571. Sophist is published twice a year (June and December), and all published articles are available online with open access.
Aims
Sophist: Jurnal Sosial Politik, Kajian Islam dan Tafsir is a peer-reviewed and open-access scholarly journal dedicated to publishing original research and critical studies in the fields of social and political sciences, Islamic studies, and Qur'anic interpretation. The journal aims to advance interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary scholarship that contributes to the understanding of contemporary social, political, religious, and interpretive issues at local, national, and global levels.
Focus
Sophist: Jurnal Sosial Politik, Kajian Islam dan Tafsir publishes high-quality scientific articles that examine contemporary issues in social and political studies, Islamic thought, Qur'anic exegesis, and their interactions with modern society through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches.
