Where Sophist Is Preserved
1 PKP Preservation Network
Sophist uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a free service of the Public Knowledge Project built on LOCKSS. Published issues are copied to a distributed network of preservation servers, which can restore the content if the journal ceases publication.
2 Journal server
All published issues, article metadata and full-text PDF files are stored on the journal server at sophist.or.id, managed by the State Islamic University of Mataram, and backed up regularly.
3 Crossref DOI
Each article receives a Digital Object Identifier under the prefix 10.20414, registered with Crossref. The DOI is a permanent link to the article that can be updated if the article location changes.
4 Garuda and open metadata
Article metadata are openly available through the journal OAI-PMH endpoint and are harvested by Garuda, the national portal of Indonesian scholarly publications.
Our Commitment
Permanence Published articles are never removed from the archive. If an article is retracted, it stays available with a clear retraction notice. See Correction and Retraction.
Self-archiving Authors may deposit the published version of their article in institutional or subject repositories under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, with a link to the original publication.
