Focus and Scope

The main focus is to provide readers  a new paradigm to build a better understanding of the relation between religions and social, political science and present the linkages through the publication of articles and book review.

Jurnal Sophist specializes in Integration-Interconnection between Islamic Sciences and Social Political Sciences , and is expected to built a better connection between original researches and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars of related disciplines.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge, and there is not a fee to publish an articel in the journal.

Archiving

This journal utilises the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

The articles that has been submitted into this journal will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin, and Plagiarism Checker.

Policy on Prior Publication

Articles that has been submitted into this journal will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin. Regarding prior publication, we understand that authors and institutions appreciate clarity on publisher policies on prior publication and how these might sit alongside institutional requirements for authors to deposit their e-theses. To avoid any doubt, Jurnal Sophist  does not count publication of an academic thesis as prior publication.
